Sacral by Edoardo Tresoldi, MAR, Ravenna

After the Basilica of Siponto and the Reggio Calabria seafront, DZ Engineering is once again working alongside Edoardo Tresoldi to illuminate Sacral, the latest of his installations at the Mar – Museum of Art of the city of Ravenna produced in 2016 and rearranged here for the occasion.

Edoardo Tresoldi was chosen by the curator of the exhibition’s contemporary art itinerary to represent the theme of Souls and to create an ideal reinterpretation of Dante’s Castle of Great Spirits with a large installation that allows the public to experience an imaginative place, fully interacting with the surrounding landscape. DZ Engineering had the pleasure of emphasising the work which, after the twilight hours, through the art of light, takes on an even greater charm. Beams of light coming from sources almost invisible to the eye, enrich the experience of the spectators who flock to the MAR.
