Biella Stadium

DZ Engineering, in collaboration with Studio I-DEA, managed the lighting redevelopment of the Pozzo-La Marmora Stadium in Biella, a premier venue home to Juventus Women (UEFA Women’s Champions League) and La Biellese. This LED relamping project has transformed the stadium experience, replacing legacy floodlights with high-efficiency solutions to ensure elite broadcasting standards and a significant reduction in energy consumption.

The project featured an upgrade of the four existing light towers alongside the integration of new lighting points on the grandstand roof and additional poles, effectively eliminating shadows across both the football pitch and the athletics track. At the technological heart of the system lies the DMX management control, allowing for dynamic and flexible operations: from programming specific lighting scenarios for various competition levels, ranging from Champions League requirements to daily training sessions, to creating spectacular light shows for key match moments. With this achievement, DZ Engineering confirms its expertise in blending engineering precision, sustainability, and high-impact visual performance.
