Abbey of San Leonardo, Foggia
The Abbey is an ancient complex dating back to the 12th century, consisting of the Church, the Monastery and the Hospital which will soon be home to the museum of San Leonardo. The abbey church is an admirable example of Apulian Romanesque architecture; the north portal, facing the Gargano, is of great importance.
The intervention of DZ Engineering concerned the internal lighting of the Church, the Monastery and the external areas of the Abbey. A project that required careful study in the specialist creation of lighting fixtures for the functional lighting of the common areas and for the enhancement and use of the Abbey spaces without glare effects.
