DZ Engineering lights up Singapore: from Formula 1 to Quantum Art

Since 2008, the Forlì-based company DZ Engineering has masterfully illuminated the Marina Bay Street circuit. This groundbreaking work inaugurated a new era for Formula 1 night races, establishing the Singapore Grand Prix as a symbol of innovation, speed, and entertainment. This year, beyond the track, DZ Engineering will also take centre stage culturally with “Quantum Perspective: The Art of Interference” (October 1–7, The Arts House). Link for more INFO

Promoted by the Dino Zoli Foundation, this exhibition is part of the official Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS25) program, celebrating the UN-proclaimed International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.

Curated by Nadia Stefanel, the exhibition fosters a dialogue between Italian and Singaporean artists through installations and artworks inspired by concepts like entanglement, superposition, and the perception of time. This reflection brings the invisible phenomena of quantum physics into the heart of Race Week, transforming Singapore into a unique crossroads of art, science, and avant-garde thinking. The project, supported by the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

It reinforces the value of cultural diplomacy as a tool for international dialogue. Following its Singapore run, the exhibition will move to Italy, opening at the Dino Zoli Foundation in Forlì (November 8, 2025 – March 21, 2026), enriched with new works and installations. DZ Engineering’s international aptitude extends far beyond Formula 1.

The company has illuminated iconic events and venues worldwide, from the first Formula E night ePrix in Diriyah (Saudi Arabia) to the recent F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Furthermore, DZE has lit prestigious UNESCO sites in Italy, including the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Arena of Verona, and the early Christian monuments of Ravenna. This journey combines cutting-edge technology, cultural heritage, and a global vision, confirming DZ Engineering’s role as an ambassador for Made in Italy.
