04 Park – Monte Coralli, Faenza
The 04 Park – Monte Coralli was established in Faenza through a synergy between Andrea Dovizioso, the local Municipality, and the FMI (Italian Motorcycle Federation) to redefine the motocross experience.
DZ Engineering designed a custom lighting system for night sessions. The infrastructure consists of 30 poles and 113 Thorn LED floodlights, controlled via DALI protocol for smart management of energy consumption and light intensity. The number and positioning of the floodlights were engineered to achieve the 200-lux certification, a key requirement set by the Federation for hosting official night competitions.
The lighting architecture ensures excellent uniformity across the entire track, with scalability already in place for future television broadcasts. DZE’s intervention also included the lighting of the pump track, extending the park’s usability after sunset for multiple disciplines. To enhance safety, the DZE team integrated Eye-Track, an advanced perimeter video surveillance system aimed at the immediate detection of hazards on the track.
This technological evolution offers new training and racing opportunities for riders while adding significant value to the local area, positioning 04 Park as a centre of excellence in the world of motocross.
