Race electronics, audio systems and tunnel lighting for the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix

Formula 1 returns to the Spanish capital on the Madring, the new circuit laid out around the IFEMA exhibition centre, and DZ Engineering is there for the inaugural edition with an integrated package of race electronics and safety systems.

Our team designed, supplied and installed the track CCTV system and additional security cameras dedicated to venue surveillance, together with the Race Control Room and its intercom and radio system connected to the marshal posts. The Light Panels complete the safety signalling set-up, while the PA system covers all grandstands, plus the podium and grid areas.

The scope of works also includes the lighting system of the circuit’s two tunnels, the Túnel Público and the Túnel IFEMA, ensuring a smooth visual transition for drivers at high speed at any time of day.
