Foro Italico in Rome

DZ Engineering completed the lighting upgrade at the Stadio Pietrangeli and Courts 1-8 of the Foro Italico in Rome for the 2025 Internazionali BNL d’Italia.

The intervention protects the artistic identity of the Pietrangeli court while ensuring a luminous uniformity of 2000 lux. These standards comply with the rigorous ATP and WTA Masters 1000 parameters for high-definition television broadcasts. On the secondary courts, the team replaced the floodlights and redesigned the light tower racks.

The integration of DMX and BMS systems allows for centralised remote management and the activation of dynamic lighting scenarios. The project merges technological innovation with monumental conservation, which enhances the overall quality of the sporting experience.
