Today, it hosts major events such as matches for the Juventus Women&#8217;s team, including the UEFA Women\u2019s Champions League, and Biellese, in addition to various competitive and amateur events. In recent years, the growing need to adopt higher <strong>lighting standards<\/strong> necessitated a complete overhaul of the lighting system. The project, led by <strong>DZ Engineering<\/strong> and focused on <strong>LED relamping<\/strong>, was strategic: to ensure superior visual comfort, elevate the technical requirements for <strong>TV broadcasting<\/strong>, and, simultaneously, achieve a substantial reduction in energy consumption and operating costs.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>Technical innovation and precision: the lighting enhancement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The intervention involved the complete replacement of the old discharge floodlights, which were previously positioned only on the four main lighting towers, with the <strong>latest-generation LED fixtures<\/strong>. To achieve <strong>high<\/strong> <strong>illuminance levels<\/strong> and lighting uniformity in line with <strong>international regulations<\/strong>, the system was enhanced with the addition of further floodlights installed on the central grandstand roof and on four supplementary poles on the opposite side, ensuring greater lighting homogeneity. This engineering approach allowed for full compliance with the rigorous requirements for high-definition television coverage and the elimination of shadow zones, guaranteeing optimal visibility from every angle, which is essential for both <strong>football fixtures<\/strong> and <strong>athletics events<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>DZE\u2019s know-how: DMX, flexibility, and spectacle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A distinctive element of the DZ Engineering intervention is the introduction of a <strong>DMX management system<\/strong>. This technology allows <strong>flexible management<\/strong> through dynamic control of each projector. It is now possible to program specific lighting scenarios, from the peak level required for the Champions League and Serie B, to those dedicated to Serie C and Serie D, down to training and maintenance activities, maximising available resources without compromising the facility&#8217;s varied <strong>lighting needs<\/strong>. The DMX system has also unlocked the scenic dimension, enabling the creation of <strong>light shows<\/strong> and <strong>dynamic effects<\/strong> that transform team entrances or goal celebrations into moments of great emotional impact. DZ Engineering\u2019s <strong>know-how<\/strong>, successfully demonstrated in other major stadium projects, also allowed for particular attention to the <strong>athletics track<\/strong>, with dedicated floodlights ensuring the correct brightness for every discipline.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DZE: a benchmark partner for sports lighting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This project, realised in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.i-dea.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studio I-DEA<\/a>, serves as an exemplary showcase of DZ Engineering&#8217;s <strong>expertise<\/strong> in combining energy efficiency with cutting-edge technological performance. The ability to propose <strong>customised solutions<\/strong> not only significantly elevates the quality of light and the usability of the stadium but also amplifies its sustainability.
