Ferrara petrochemical complex

We are aware that in a dangerous situation, the management of communications is of fundamental importance; an emergency alarm system must therefore make it possible to convey clear, complete and understandable information on the actions that must be undertaken in one or more specific areas. At the Petrochemical Complex in Ferrara, after acoustic analysis using simulation software aimed at maximum site coverage, DZ Engineering created a sound system with EVAC specifications dedicated to the emission of messages in emergency situations. Specifically, 13 cabinets were installed for a total of 5,000 W of rated power available out of 62 array speakers mounted on special poles or existing structures. In the three reception lodges at the industrial site, operators can monitor the status of the system and send emergency messages via the dedicated workstations.
