Everything is illuminated. Geographies of Views Between History and Contemporaneity

In 2019, the preview of the photographic exhibitionEverything is illuminated. Geographies of Views Between History and Contemporaneity” was set up, conceived by the Dino Zoli Foundation and curated by Gigliola Foschi and Nadia Stefanel with works by Alessandra Baldoni, Luca Gilli, Cosmo Laera, Luca Marianaccio, Lucrezia Roda and Pio Tarantini; set up at The Arts House, on the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the exhibition by six Italian photographers told the visual story of twelve historical and contemporary sites illuminated by DZ Engineering (from Castel del Monte to the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites – from Ferrara’s chemical complex to the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia), offering themselves up as a cross-section of a country, Italy, capable of looking to the future without forgetting its multiple and many-layered historical roots.
